When I first started looking at PCE late last year I was struck with the apparent commonsense of using VRB's to store baseload electricity generated from ucg to enable sales at signicantly higher daily peak prices .... the batteries have a life of 10,000 load/unload cycles, which is over 13 yrs at a probable 2 peak load cycles per day.

Because I came to PCE from a coal bed methane background, with a green energy perspective and no knowledge whatsoever on the VRBs, when somebody on the thread queried the value of the batteries I didnt follow that side of things any further. I'll have a rethink.
