Spot on. Not just newspaper reporters - same on the evening news.
The other night, on Channel nine (same owner as AFR - everyone's favourite newspaper here) the reporter said "overworked airline refuelers are going on strike".
Now, I don't have a dog in the fight, but I suspect that of all air-travel employees, refuelers are probably the most unionised and protected, and least overworked. Yes, they have to work in all conditions, but in Melbourne, it's hardly the rain and storms you get in Brisbane, the heat you get in Darwin, or the snow you get in the US and Europe.
But the point is that the media is biased - no doubt about it.
That doesn't mean that everything they write is a lie.
For GetSwift, what they wrote turned out to be true.
There's some bad feelings between JK and AFR for sure, but between it being a mud-slinging beat up by the AFR and JK being a saint and entirely without Sin, and JK being a fraud and AFR being entirely truthful and correct - well, it's going to turn out to be somewhere in between.
