At a price increase of around 700% I believe it becomes economically viable to extract straight from seawater, and in abundant quantities. There's money to be made from cheap producers, but that article is way over the top.

Anyone followed Western Lithium Canada (WLC.V)? I nearly purchased while in the doldrums, but it's on the US exchange and I didn't have a way to easily purchase. The price went so low I thought they were on the verge of collapse (11c, extremely light volume). 12 months later they're $1.50.
