I respectfully disagree Out Cold. I think Nick and Co.'s track record speaks volumes about their intentions: take an under-performing asset/company and realise its potential. They took EQI from a MCap of less than $40 million to an MCap of $1.1 billion.
I would argue that the current RRL management could have been in a position to kick Duketon in to production at least 2 years ago (if not more) and that current shareholders have been heavily diluted by poor management. The 08 annual report shows that more than half of the 2,500 odd shareholders had an unmarketable parcel of shares. For that to happen during the biggest gold bull market in the last 30 years says something about the current RRL management, ie, maybe "it is broken".
As I've said before who do you want managing the Duketon gold project? Proven hands-on expertise (Nick and Co.) or someone that will manage consultants (Walker and Co.).
It ain't rocket science.
