Fairly unlikely. So you have your superannuation with Australian Super and they devote a portion of the invested capital into the ASX200 - it is cut and dried that $x goes into each constituent ie: 0.95% to ZIp, no monkey business, no rounding. Same deal with direct investments with say, AMP - you hand over $100,000 to them with directions for it or part to be invested in the ASX200 - $950 will buy ZIP shares thank you very much. There are literally zillions of kinds of funds and no doubt there are hybrids which do all kinds of things - that's what Regal's short long fund does - investing for both long positions and short positions, instead of parking the money up for growth as you would in say BHP. Gets complicated lol
