following the MSCI index entry there was a noticeable increase in trading volume and a dominant upward trend in share prices..hard to say this was indicative or related to entry but the 30-40m? volume on that Friday close was in order to not disrupt the market ...common practice it seems
hard to say if the same will occur with the ASX 200 re-entry.... despite funds being able to accumulate stocks a week in advance to adjust their portfolio strategies..... there will likely be added volatility onwards.... possibly more algorithmic trading too to maintain portfolio alignment
