I think if the RBA allow merchants to charge the 4% back to the customer, they will stop using Zip and only use it in emergency / last resort situation. Zip's Aus revenues would go WAY DOWN after. This is extremely bad news for all BNPLs in Aus and the RBA shouldn't be able to announce this sort of disaster in a surprise announcement.
They need to sort this issue out asap. It's been talked about for a couple of years now. Get on with it RBA
