There are some very large private companies and also some major emerging producers, such as African Diamonds, whose output production will be three times that of Martins Drift.

DON have alot to prove. The average price of their diamonds is low and their mine life is short. They also put together the project on very little trial mining. They have a fair bit of debt.

They need to find lots of diamonds or they will struggle

In their favour, the price of diamonds is increasing and there is really no new supply coming on stream.

It is a real wait and see on this.
