like pisces l am certainly no gold lover.

Was an avid fan and trader in both AVO - Avoca & LGL- Lihir, both quality companies both sold for very very little for shareholder benefits. Both struggled in the price range $1.00 - $2.00, very cheaply.

l am amazed how little has been spoken about recent events (circa 08/09) when our mining industry was in dior straits and how quickly we recovered & boomed?

What's different now?

Back then in 2008, company's where tightening their belts, projects were placed on care & maintenance, staff sackings, projects cancelled, even whole towns shutdown, and the media were reporting its all over.....

Then a very surprising boom occurred, copper recovered etc. etc.

As this is only my second boom & bust, looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
