It wasnt about that particular "issue". It was more to point out that instead of posters constantly complaining about things they should email or phone management about any issue.
I just used my email re: the quarterly as an example. I have contacts management on a number of occasions (across all my stocks) and always find it more rewarding that random internet speculation on what management may or may not mean.
