Would be perfect timing to align supply into Countdown in NZ also with the NZ green cross pharmacy exclusivity clause ending this month. (Countdown is what Woolworths are called in NZ)

I believe that Coles work with suppliers to ensure that before the end of the quarter they get one final order in - for example we saw one at the initial FIJ outlay to Coles stores in June (last month of Q2) and then late August we had 50% off and late Sept 50% off, with many stores (your anecdote and @Monteys) being restocked this week (last month of Q3). Almost as a bargaining chip, we will do an additional order before Q3 end but we require you to have another 50% off to clear current store stock - perhaps something along those lines.
