The cash trust was with Maquarie but opes had full authorisation to withdraw funds as needed when shares were purchased HOWEVER, the amount they withdrew was not to pay for any shares it was just the remaining balance which was 75% in cash!!unbeleavable really.
Being looking at first prudential .1% using the webiress platform which iv used and is great
ib brokers .08% the cheapest
commsec .12%
andrew west .11% not dma
etrade .1%
The most important thing is which broker gives you the legal ownership of the shares once purchased?!
if anyone has experience with any of these your advice would be appreciated.
