Just read the Resource Global Network article.
    http://resourceglobalnetwork.com/images/oct12c/#p=116

This quote from Peter gives me so much confidence in this company:

“Our customer base in Australia includes all the big resources companies – Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton and Anglo American to name a few – but we typically only monitor up to three of their sites, because if we sold BHP 10 licences for 10 different sites, for example, the software wouldn’t be able to keep up with the demand,” Peter explains. “That’s why we’re making the technology scalable. Once we do that, we’ll be able to sell literally hundreds of these licences all over the world and the software will be running out of Amazon’s global, third-party data centres. So that’s our major goal for the next 12 months.”

    Why it excites me:
    a) It means there is still more to be gained from the relationships with RIO, BHP etc.
A quick look at the map of assets on BHPB's website shows about 20-30 odd sites... and right now PEH is limited to 3. So right there is potential for 10x the business from one of their primary clients... (correct me if I'm wrong... I'm doing this rushed... but i think the point I'm making in this post renders any variation in any of the numbers as immaterial)

    b) AWS (amazon webservices) really are is a key in any company that operates a data driven company. Anyone who works in software dev is likely to be well aware of this.

I use the spotify case study as an example:

Spotify adds over 20,000 tracks a day to its catalogue. Emil Fredriksson, operations director for Spotify, explains, “Spotify needed a storage solution that could scale very quickly without incurring long lead times for upgrades. This led us to cloud storage, and in that market,Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) is the most mature large-scale product. Amazon S3 gives us confidence in our ability to expand storage quickly while also providing high data durability.”
“By removing the restrictions incurred by in-house solutions, we enabled much faster development and deployment cycles.”

Other services that use AWS include NetFlix, Dropbox, Instagram, Pinterest, and Zynga

This one has definitely flown under the radar.
I am very excited to see what happens with Pacific Environment in the new year
    Great find Fib
