    It is an evil wind that doesn't blow any good. I feel sorry for these UCG guys because the gas extracted is substantial and about 8 times the quantity that can be extracted using CSG technology. I did own some CNX but sold out at 73 cents because i thought the technology was going to be fraught with underground problems. And unfortunately this benzene/toluene leakage at Cougar could meean big problems for this process.I hope not and that this is an isolated incidence.

    BOW, on the other hand, and thank goodness, is all about CSG EXTRACTION. ( we do not need to light underground fires, inject chemicals etc ) The only problems we may have will be in dealing with saline water and the CSG industry has developed quite a few solutions to deal with these already.

    The CSG industry does have its own environmental problems relating to a number of above ground issues and it is good to see that Garrett/Govt are demanding a code of practice. These are and will be met.

    In summary, this UCG problem is not going to affect BOW and the CSG Industry.
