    portfolio, advice given to me is that obligations for interest payments continue. what makes you think coupon payments stop? once they step up, they just pay provided they can or decide to noting the decision to pay is with board.
    . they don't change their status to perpetual, my use of the word is just describe situation if they don't redeem for many years
