I've been having a clean-out this month, including going through old newspaper cuttings up to ten years old. Nobody in the financial press predicted NST's rise. In the early days, it never featured in those 'top ten' lists of stock tips. In fact, Barry Fitz, who I much respect, even included NST in a list of overpriced stocks punters should avoid.
I guess the learning is: you have to pay for quality.
