I went to the SCE conference and was impressed by a lot of what went on.

MSB look to be entering a new paradigm in medicine and could change the face of medical therapeutics. If half what they claim they can do comes off they'll be three times bigger than CSL.

RVA is a new dissolvable stent for coronary arteries still some way off commercial reality but again seems to be the best device to come along for interventional angiography. It will one day be another huge growth story and should be added to everyone's watchlists.

PRR already gets enough noise on hotcopper but if it was valued in a similar way to its identical company in the USA Dendreon would be vaued at at least 20 times its current price.

ADO seems to be in the category too of having disruptive technology (I love that phrase) where it seems only a matter of time before it begins to snare the big companies. What is different here is that it's only valued at about $70M which makes it a minnow and I thought easily able to be the best for a potential big multiple share price potential. Interestingly other applications were quickly discussed including being used to coat solar cells to improve their electricity capture and also being atteached to a biocide then painted onto ships hulls to prevent algal growth which would catapult it to Du Pont status.

The above companies were easily the top 4 at the and I apologize for not squeezing QRX in which is using 2 existing narcotics as a combination therapy allowing a smaller dose of each to be used with better analgesia capability with fewer side effects.

With one final comment it was noted that Australia's biotech sector was far out-performing the general index in the last 12 months and really was amongst our best growth in all the equities.
