The scheme propased by Labor actually has some merit. but not surprising there are those who are not smart enough to see the merit or foolishly knock the proposal for no other reason than knocking it.
Fail to see who anyone with a brain could say a scheme where rents must be offered at 20% below the market rate to be entitled to receive the subsidy will force rents up.
But I agree the scheme although good and far more than what the previous government came up with does not go far enough.
The scheme should be oopen to all investors not just institutions
Any with a rental property out side this scheme should be not allowed to negative gear properties, instead losses should be carried forward.
