Looks Like Balla Balla is going to beat PMA into production this time around.
The lack of information from PMA about its solution to the woeful metallurgy at Windimurra would suggest they haven't solved the problem yet.
I drove past Balla Balla last week and they appear to be putting in their final production bores for the plant. From memory, the Windimurra project ran out of water during operation.
After the last Mineral Resource announcment and with all the pilot work done, I would expect a new Ore Reserve estimate for Balla Balla. Ferrovandium continues to trade north of $US40/kg - this would have to help.
BTW Windimurra only has about 13 years of Ore Reserves, if you divide the proposed capacity into the Ore Reserve statement.
Balla Balla already has more than 30 years of Ore and the grade is 1.5 times greater, AND THE VANADIUM DOES NOT END UP IN THE TAILINGS DAM.
