Try googling "bible rewrites and changes", for a start. I loved the story mentioned on the ABC recently where some wacko did some calculations based on the suns rotation around the earth and concluded that the earth was created six thousand years ago. He apparently penciled this into the margin of his bible and it was included in the next reprint. Think the story was on ABC RN Science podcast.
