Maybe not quite a bluechip Unhedged.
In my humble and uninformed opinion the market will take notice of the quarterlies as they disclose ever increasing production volumes and profitability .... and in this respect SSN is likely to very significantly outperform bluechips for a while.
A (blue chip like) plateau may be reached at some point . . . perhaps when (if) a dozen or so wells are nicely producing. The good news for SSN here is that the law of averages reduces risk as we can now afford a very significant drilling program. TBar's dollar call may be be realistic . . . if?? ... SSN's niobrara acreage follows the bakken productivity trend .
The market is extremely risk averse ATM and it is up to SSN to now demonstrate niobrara productivity. I would target 9c on any revelation that the mooted JV deal is with a player like EOG, Noble, or Devon. There will be a further few cents on any news that the buyer will develop their acreage quickly. Then we may have to await the quarterlies (and the quarterlies of other niobrara players LOL).
So it's back down to the business of being an oiler (drilling, flow testing and hooking up the pipelines e.t.c.)
cheers
