Buddhism does not assert, as a doctrine, a Universe that has no beginning or end of time.
however, it does infer it because what ever we can experience has a cause &, in being such, how can a 1st cause be identified when another cause must precede it?
thus the Big Bang & Jehovah God seem to be the same superstition
