Yep. CSG is sort of a reverse cargo cult. Queensland (and NSW) allow the big guys to drill and flood the bejimminees out of the landscape to get 5% of the available energy in the coal seam out as methane. Then they compress it, load it into LNG tankers, ship it off to wherever, and hey presto, in come the revenue dollars by the billion.
