Hi again folks

Thanks for the tip that I may be able to hear the compressors before I will be able to see a flame.

I drove out near their site again yesterday afternoon & searched as to where I might get a view of the stacks from about 500 to 600 metres. That is about the distance the site is off the road.

Well I found a peep hole through through the long grass, trees & lantana etc where I could see about the top half of each flare stack. That was rather exciting as I had not been able to sight them from "close-up" previously however, there was no sign of a flare or flares. There was no apparent sound of compressors working either. They may have been in action but their sound would have been drowned out by a neighbour working with a tractor.

Last night I took another trip out there. It was difficut to find my "peep-hole" at first & when I did it was hard to see the flare stacks. I did locate them though - there was some minor light reflection on their eastern side but they were not flaring. Once again I listened for the compressors but alas I could not hear them.

I shall try my luck again tonight
