Not sure where the law stands on this currently, but this type of area used to be addressed by a company having a very wide Objects Clause in their Articles of Assoociation. This allowed a company to engage in very wide-ranging activities, without breaching Rules on Ultra Vires. One word of caution, this is based on my professional studies from many years ago, in Company Law, which made Accountancy seem exciting!
