Last few weeks there has lot of posts between people who hold and that who despise this stock. It seems like a never ending discussion, is sometime acrimonious and doesn’t take one anywhere. I am just putting my thoughts around this.

I think the stocks that we consider in the speccy range, it is very easy to find out a reason not to hold. You can find hundreds. Usually we need to find a reason to be there. People who do not want to get there will harp on those hundreds of reason not to be there. People who want to get in will harp on those reasons why they are there. These are two parallel lines that will never meet. And it is obvious when you read what is posted on these stocks.
ISN is not alone there are a number of them on ASX. Why is that some get into ISN, some into ANP, NEU, etc etc. It is a sort of gamble to be trading in these stocks. As in casino you find some playing blackjack, some playing roulette, others pokies - similar to holding different stocks of these nature. Arguing with someone holding this stock is akin to a guy who is playing blackjack and telling him he is wasting his time, he should play roulette - by telling everything bad about blackjack. There are others who will lecture about short term hold, medium term hold, long term hold - again it is akin to say someone playing roulette and lecturing that instead of playing the number, you should play line, or red and black. As is obvious these logics do not apply - it will never be understood by other person, otherwise he would not gamble. Some people after some time give up gambling, akin to not playing in these speccy stocks. Some people make big wins that changes their life. Hence, in many cases the standard logic that applies to blue chips will not be applicable here. You need faith, emotion, and heaps of luck. Some big boys with big pockets also helps sometime in the short to medium range.

And you have to find a reason to be here. I am relying on Michael to give the goodies. I think if something good happens the SP could rise a lot, if not, it could stay here or a bit below this. The three months from February to end of April will tell me whether the reason for me to hold this stock is there or not. A few of the things need to happen in this time and they will be form basis of my reason and I will re-visit my reasons and according change my postion and sentiment. For others the reasons and timeframe will be different. Others will never get into this and keep on bashing who have entered the big playground.

Hence for me, it is wait and watch next couple of months. Hoping for the best. Each to its own.
