What I found the most intriguing is why earth changed from being very dynamic before 10,000 years back to a bland boring climate that suited us very nicely.
It seems odd. The evidence seems clear. 10,000 years is not very long, but we were pretty dammed basic at that stage - still quite a few thousand away from the bronze age and iron age.
Where the hell would we be now if the climate hadn't settled?
