Interesting article, the part of it that really holds true for me is -

Perhaps selective perception but I've noticed these buyers agents/property spruikers/property specialists (I call them used house salesman, they are nothing more) have turned up everywhere all singing this same tune. I agree with the article, I wonder how many of them could advise why Aus is different and why property couldn't fall or level out for several yrs.
