This article is exactly what I have been fearing and talking about for a while now. I know we are on the verge of something happening. But to what extent, I don't know. Will it be a total wipe-out like with the US subprime mortgage defaults or minor once it occurs. Hard to really know. I am sure there will be plenty of international buyers sitting on the sidelines (Especially Chinese) ready to scoop up any bargains when they present. So any falls may not be as severe as we saw in the US. And even if the worse case does happen. CBA will be the hardest hit. Not ANZ. It will probably benefit from such an event. So its not all bad news.
