Update.
We took the stitches out today.
Everything looks pretty well healed. A small amount of pus in the last stitch so. We jabbed her with a shot of LA Penicillin.
The old girl is not very keen on going up the race and into the crush after all this but she and the calf are alive and thriving.
The vet’s bill hasn’t arrived yet.
