Although there is about a 1/50 million chance that a black hole could occur we should not be gambling the earth on such a probobability.
To set the facts straight, the LHC is only being charged up tomorrow and then charged up to full capacity on Oct 21st. Collissions will not be undertaken until the end of the year, hopefully after the spring carnival.
