Realistically it would be 2050 before Australia had a single nuclear power station up & running.
By that time Australia would already be at net zero emissions & had phased out gas.
So Australia has two options proceed with developing renewables or sit in the dark from 2035 & wait until the until the lights come back on in 2050.
