    Hi marum

I have a good friend who was a school principal in Port Moresby married a PNG girl up there and he has told me many tales about ** One could find degrees by the tonne, but commonsense by the microgram. **

Economically, I am basically a Keynesian. I hate Government intervention. I am in favour of a "Free Enterprise Capitalist Economy." Not a Monopolistic Capitalist Economy like we have, where the big players own more than 90% of the market, Just look at grocery retailing.

This does basically cover it with the limit that spending has to still be to a budget IE spend by all means as long as you get a return for the outlay
There is at the moment far too much spending for no visible return

In business spending is set out in percentages for that type of business - so there is some small amount of spending for no return, like R & D or local charity, then spending on the hope of a return like advertising, IE spending by set out budgets
