lets keep this short and sweet..
management & board are determined to get this mine up and running again.
the BIGGEST HURDLE they have is the Feasibility Study (FBS).
this must be completed before they are granted a mining license.
if the FBS says the mine is not commercial, then NO mining license will be granted..they are just commencing FBS at present. which is done by a independent firm, not by CCI..
as they don't have full data from previous mining company, so they'll need to drill a couple of holes. so they can complete the FBS.
if things go well without any problems the FBS may take approx 2-3months (remember they need to drill a few holes & get them analyzed).
then they submit this too the government body together with plan of development (P.O.D) so they may be granted a mining license..
mining license will not, i repeat will not be granted until FBS is completed & project is commercial..
if things go well then you can be looking at about 5-7months before mining starts again..
whilst the company says the project has a NPV $50mm, the FBS may have a totally different opinion..which can and does happen in the metals industry, BFS comes up with different figures).
this is a fairly complexed matter, rather going by what people say on h/c.
i strongly suggest you call and speak with Brian Thomas, he's very approachable person..
