It is not an obvious transition but most Aussie Bios are too small to carry a commercial only CEO - it's like a school thinking it can run with the Principal being a business manager only.
I think RH made a great transition and even the 2nd half of last year did a good job of investor relations but to a very limited audience. Unfortunately we are getting to 3-6 months past that run but as we have been saying hopefully they are just cranking out the science making great headway - it is just starting to feel like the other parts of the role are being forgotten - maybe it all gets fixed in the next month or 2 cause they have been so focused internally. The risk I am trying to identify is that they avoid the accusation of only bothering with shareholders when they need money - I think I have been very patient with this but it does require constant managing.
There will be no takeout at anything like a normal premium - when you have a major shareholder with a stake like the Hockings they set the staring price if there ever was a buyer and my thinking is they think in the hundreds of millions within 3 years. Like you say - gotta get the MCAP closer to that first.
