I feel the biggest problem with phylogica isn't the promotion, it's the absolute minuscule chance they have of succeeding with their end product.
Successful lab testing occurs all the time. It is incredibly common to have successful test-tube testing, but to have it done in vivo is a different thing.
And yes, I have read the 2015 cancer related article published by Phylogica. Unfortunately it's not that exciting.
The problem is that their method of curing things like cancer is irrelevant. A single mutation which occurs in minutes and even in seconds, completely renders the methods that Phylogica are going for to be useless.
It's a neat idea and a new way of doing things. But it's a complete roulette spin (if the roulette wheel had a few thousand numbers on it..)
