In the primordial ooze which is crypto currency there are many tokens being created. Some are going mainstream and have potential but then there ar e a lot of "shitcoins" out there which are merely pump and dump schemes.
Silver and gold may or may not form part of the future financial system however they will always act as a store of value and not be subject to the wild price swings and volatility of the crypto market.
