Although....
I think the buying started last Thurs and Fri (much higher volumes SVL traded). This will take a few weeks to play out if it plays out at all that physical silver is hard to obtain.
It may only take a small move in price for the banks to think about covering the shorts. (if they covered all their shorts at once it would cause pandemonium)
Physical silver is different from GME in that its probably (depending on who you ask) relatively undervalued at present prices. So unlike GME, the punters won't get shafted on this play...
