The irony, Kohler on the abc dismisses the rba/abs and how they deduct the value if govt grants from new housing to figure out the inflation figure for housing inputs which is very true, how the rba thinks developers pass on the full stamp duty savings onto clients is beyond me. Maybe none of their employees live in newly built houses in the burbs but they are skyrocketing in price. Anyway my point is that without the deducting of the housing reduction of govt incentives inflation was rampant last quarter! So it’s only a matter of time until it becomes elevated.
