I've never said gold was a great investment Skol, if i was investing in gold it would be in gold mining companies it is a great currency by comparison to fiat. I have never suggested that you put all your savings in it. However if you price all your investments in ounces of gold instead of fiat since 1971 you will see a markedly different picture. nominal gains versus real gains.
