Both gold and silver have had a very good run in recent weeks so a breather is no shock. I'm hopeful (who isn't!) and expecting a resumption north before the end of this month. Far too much happening to gold and silver for them to lag too long: silver especially .... Has some serious catch-up work to do. The shorts might be pretty anxious currently I would think.
