Our political system needs a major revision. Look at Switzerland where the PEOPLE decide on things like the Carbon tax via referendum.
Public Participation via referenda will never happen in the UK. To many tories/labor party chiefs and not enough indians.
Why allow the peasants to vote on what's best for them?
Parliament knows best just like their bankster friends.
