This pint size company is now cashed up and has interest is two classy projects with more on the way.
The company has had a life changing event occur in that the Mult $Billion Arab Corporation "Royal Group" has become the major shareholder and 60% JV partner.
This is the Royal Group's first move into Resources. It has many billions invested in property & industrial projects and has a particular interest in Africa.
What happened, is they found themselves continously offered opportunities in the Resource industry but had no corporate history of expertise in vetting the projects or running them.
It was a chance meeting with Rick Crabb and Craig Mckay from GMR when they were overseas that geminated this relationship.
GMR had the technical expertise and the vehicle and are very amicable people, well like by everyone they meet as a rule.
The Arabs warmed to them and they decided to get together and allow Royal Group to take a majority stake in GMR for 8 cents a share and take a 60% share of a JV which all projects would go into.
The Royal Group would funnel these class projects that come accross their desk in Dubai and open doors to people and opportunities that otherwise GMR would never have a chance at. the emphasis will be on Africa which suits both compaies. Royal because thats where most of their substantial interests are located and GMR which wants to hunt for elephant gold deposits.
The Royal Group is only interested in significant size projects and funding for them is absolutely no problem. The first couple of opportunities are very impressive and more projects are coming. Because of this first rate pipeline for quality deals, anything that doesn't prove up to have the substance that its potential showed will be flicked. they dont need to stay married to any project because there will plenty of qaulity ones coming down the pipeline.
The Royal Group intends to build a substantial resource group out of GMR. They are quite bullish about the opportunities they can bring to the door step. Already the directors of GMR have been blown away by the doors that they have visited just from the Royal Groups introductions.
The market cap at present will surely seem like an amusing joke when we look back in a year or two. the first gold project in mali gets drilled in June (this month) and GMR believe its current inventory of 100K ozs can be grown to 1 million. If that does not pan out, it will be flick out the door. We wont get bored here.
