was speaking to a political scientist the other day
conversation got around to the word democracy. he, after spending his time at uni concluded that there is no democracy existing in the world. closest to it is switzerland.
he also mentioned that australia is not and never has been a democracy. something i have mentioned once or twice on this forum and elsewhere.
