frasier, sorry mate but where have you been? Sledging has been part of the game since the beginning. It's only because the players have cameras in their face all the time that it's become more apparent. I see that you acknowledge that it's always been a part of the game, at least you've got that going for you. Maybe you should watch some other sport (I can't think of one to name that doesn't have sledging in it so you'll have to find that yourself) and leave cricket to those who appreciate it for what it is.
