It was all done for entertainment value, I thought the producers did a great job with the casting of the various teams. What I think it reflects is it is easy to over capitalise on any property. The producers paid a premium to buy 4 properties in one line, properties which if a developer was the purchaser would have been demolished and replaced by at least 6 new town homes.Its a fact renovation costs are at double that of building new so there was no chance of a profit being made from the sale.I do not see it as an all encompassing view or insight into the Australian property market.
