They do have some quirky rules over there. American vehicle dealership licences were really weird up until fairly recently (pretty sure it was Tesla who changed that) - manufacturers were not allowed to sell cars to the public, and dealership licences were restricted so much that if you didn't inherit one from your gran-daddy then you don't get to sell new vehicles.
Also the bizarre chicken tax relating to pickup vehicles which resulted in utes not being a thing over there.
The list goes on...
Back on topic, the Cash App Taxes is a genius move to build trust and awareness in the Cash App and Block brands. Whilst they say no upsells and no nonsense - that doesn't preclude them from promoting other products or services - like the Cash App... or is Cash App Taxes a function within the Cash App? Or a separate app?
