The point of sale devices are also easy to obtain - Officeworks carries their product line, and that's the perfect retailer for them.
I've used the Square reader with my Android mobile for collecting card payments at a garage sale I held a few years ago - easy to setup and use.
That gives me an idea... they should sell a garage sale kit - signs to put up around the neighborhood, bundled with the card reader and a cash lockbox.
