    His point is that he's sick of being gouged to the eyeballs with taxes so that useless oxygen thieves can get a free ride. He's not the only one. A mate of mine was in a no fault accident recently and couldn't work for a couple of months due to injuries sustained (self employed). After 8 weeks with no income he went to centrelink to see if they could give him a hand, you know DO THE BLOODY JOB THEY WERE CREATED TO DO. In short they told him to go away and come back after he'd spent the lousy 1o grand he had in his saving account. He asked them about all the immigrants who lob up and get free housing, free handouts, free this and free that but they didn't have an answer for him (as if). In short, same as the cop in the article, been paying taxes for 50 years and when he needs to make use of the services they are meant to provide gets told to piss off. Presumably because they can't support a world of bludgers AND those who actually need a hand from time to time.
