    Hi Director, this sounds a little bit improbable to me. Centrelink payments are primarily concerned with income, not assets. If your self employed friend had income protection insurance, as most do, that would preclude him for receiving sickness benefits from centrelink. Being self employed and without income protection insurance would make it almost impossible for him to borrow money for personal or business reasons.
